The **Russian-made Baikal IJ27** is a highly reliable over-and-under shotgun, renowned for its durability and dependable performance. Featuring **double triggers**, an **extractor system**, and chambered in **12/70 gauge**, this shotgun is an excellent choice for hunting and sporting use.

The **72 cm barrels** are in **excellent internal condition**, while the exterior shows some cosmetic wear and traces of old pitting from long-term storage. It is fitted with **fixed 3/4 and Full chokes**, a **6 mm ventilated rib**, and a **front bead sight** for precise target acquisition.

The **steel receiver** remains in **very good mechanical condition** with **no play in the action**, ensuring reliable lock-up and long service life. The **stock and forend** are also in very good condition, displaying only light handling marks. A **rubber butt plate** provides improved shooting comfort and recoil absorption.

### Gunsmith’s Note

The Baikal IJ27 has earned a reputation as one of the toughest over-and-under hunting shotguns ever produced. This example has seen very limited use and remains mechanically excellent. The only noticeable imperfections are cosmetic marks on the barrel exterior caused by long-term storage, with no effect on its performance or reliability.
